How to Apply
1. Log in
Log in to the portal with your ACS email and password.
2. Create
Create your online nomination.
3. Save
During the call for nominations period, your nomination can be saved as DRAFT until all the required information is completed and attachments uploaded. As each section is complete, you will see a
appear in the category tab when the nomination is saved. At any time, you can download and print your nomination by clicking on the
icon in the Nomination Summary section.
4. Submit
On completion, save your nomination as FINAL. Download and print a copy of your nomination for your records by clicking on the
icon in the Nomination Summary section in the right column. Note: If an update is required prior to the call for nominations period ends, you can make the update and resave as FINAL.

Key Dates
2028 National AwardsNominations for the 2026 National Awards were accepted from July 1 to November 1, 2024. The winners were announced in C&EN in August 2025 and will be celebrated at ACS Spring 2026 in Atlanta, GA.
Nominations for the 2027 National Awards were accepted from July 1 to November 1, 2025. The winners will be announced in C&EN in August 2026 and will be celebrated at ACS Fall 2027 in San Diego, CA.
